Robotic Keyhole Detection & Fastening
Exploring inductive sensing and robot positioning to locate concealed mounting features and support automated assembly.
HELLO, I'M ASHAN.
I'm Ashan Willaddarage, a Mechatronics Engineering student exploring where robotics, embedded systems, control and AI meet. I turn engineering ideas into models, prototypes and measurable results.
01 / ABOUT
From sensor-level electronics to system-level intelligence, I enjoy the entire path from an idea to a working, validated solution.
I'm studying BEng (Hons) Mechatronics Engineering at UWE Bristol, with interests spanning industrial automation, robotics, embedded systems, and applied AI.
My work combines hands-on prototyping with simulation, data analysis, and experimental validation. I aim to make complex systems useful, dependable, and understandable.
